Let us examine the words of Apostle Paul, "Do not fret or have any anxiety about ANYTHING…." This scripture indicates what you must do. Too often, we want to pray and get God to take away our worries and anxieties. But it is NOT scriptural to pray that way because it will not work.
Our caring God will do something about our worries and anxieties, about the problems we face, but not until we hand them over to Him. Another rendering of the scripture above reads, "In nothing be anxious but in EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." It is very important to realise that as long as we are going to fret or have anxiety about whatever it is we are praying about, we are nullifying the effects of our praying. In other words, if we are worrying about something, we have not cast the care of our problem on the Lord; we still have it, and we are not trusting God with it. If we have it, this means the Lord does not have it. But if the Lord has it then we do not have it.....
CONFESSION - I no longer carry my burdens - all cares and anxieties and concerns are rolled over to the Lord now and He shall sustain me and will never allow me to be moved because I am His child, a righteous one.
