Genesis 39: 9b – “How could I do such a wicked thing? It would be a great sin against God” ( NLT)
Joseph ends up in prison although he has done nothing wrong.
In this video:
We will learn that Joseph even as a slave began to do well in his master Potiphar's house. This was because God was with him.
Everything he did went well.
His master trusted him with everything he owned.
Potiphar's wife noticed him as he was handsome. She tried to tempt him but Joseph refused to do the wrong thing.
She lied about him to her husband who threw Joseph in prison.
Even in prison he could have hope because God was still with him
Joseph still trusted God.
Today’s lesson teaches us that things can get difficult sometimes even when we do the right thing. Our relationship and trust in God helps us to hold on to hope even at such times.
