4) CHOOSE your companions very carefully. No one is an island!
If God intended us to live like hermits He would not have created a companion for Adam. However, companions can have good or bad influence in the course of one's life if not carefully chosen. King David affirms the need to have God-fearing companions - those who will help advance your relationship in Christ; those who will stick closer than natural blood relatives; those who will hold up your hands in prayers when you need it most; those who will help restore when you stray or miss it and those who will demonstrate divine love come thick or thin!. Difficult and challenging times come to everyone but sharing those moments with people who believe God like you do, those who will pray with you is very important indeed. If you don't have such companions, you may need to seriously consider changing them for God-fearing ones.
23And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them. 24And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord,.. 31And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

CONFESSION - I am a companion of those who fear the Lord - those who trust the Almighty God; those who are devoted to Christ's ways of doing things.
