Daily Scriptural Meditation
3) It is impossible to grow and bear much fruits without a daily dosage of scriptural meditation. It is vital that you adopt the right attitude to the word of God, for without which the mind and the will of God cannot be known and verified. He watches only over His word to perform it. Read it purposefully, study it diligently and obey its dictates.
There has never been more access to the word of God than this generation has come to enjoy. The word can now be listened to, read and studied on digital equipment, such as phone devices and lately iPads. This generation therefore has no excuse for not meditating on God’s word.
The Bible is God talking to us and what food is to the body is what scriptural meditation and application is to the regenerated spirit of man. Let's follow the pattern of Christians in Thessalonica: 11These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
CONFESSION - I shall meditate in Your word, day and night and observe to do what it teaches. I shall keep unwaving focus on Your word for thus I will have wisdom to deal wisely in the affairs of this world.
