Mark No 7- Resentment
By resentment I mean anger, bitterness or hatred.
This area is so important that I’ve decided to spend more time on the subject. But first, let us look at some scriptures. 24 People may cover their hatred with pleasant words, but they’re deceiving you.
14 We know that we have passed over out of death into Life by the fact that we love the brethren (our fellow Christians). He who does not love abides (remains, is held and kept continually) in [spiritual] death.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:.. 8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
14 Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord. 15 Exercise foresight and be on the watch to look [after one another], to see that no one falls back from and fails to secure God's grace (His unmerited favour and spiritual blessing), in order that no root of resentment (rancour, bitterness, or hatred) shoots forth and causes trouble and bitter torment, and the many become contaminated and defiled by it.
CONFESSION - May Father God give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ, the eyes of my understanding being enlightened that I may know what is the hope of His calling.
