Let us look at some scriptures together as found in second Timothy chapter two from verse nineteen. "...The Lord knows those who are His, and let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are vessels of gold....If anyone cleanses himself... he will be a vessel for honour, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work." Since my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, God mandates that His temple is kept clean, fit and useful for His glory.
The first step therefore to remaining a perpetual carrier of God's glory is to present my body as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto God for this is my spiritual worship. The responsibility to present my body to God is a personal one which cannot be undertaken by proxy; It is His dwelling place which was purchased by His own blood and therefore He must be glorified in my body.
CONFESSION - Since I am a carrier of the Father's glory I therefore present my body, His temple, as a living sacrifice.
