Perpetual Fruitfulness - DISCIPLINE Myself (Pt 2)

Jesus taught us the need to be disciplined in the areas of our five senses. This is what He said, "If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perishes, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell."

King Solomon talked extensively on the importance of self-discipline: "A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit. Whoever guards his mouth and tongue keeps his soul from troubles."

Child of God, never say, 'it cannot happen to me...'. The consequences of not appropriating this key can be very grave indeed - generations can be affected adversely. However, God, who made us, knows our frailty hence He commands us to ABSTAIN from all appearance of evil (anything that opposes God and His purposes).

CONFESSION - Help me O God to exercise self discipline in the areas of my five senses and the resources You have graciously blessed me with, in particular my time.
